Police probe mystery death

Residents of White Hill were alarmed last night when Police began canvassing the area following the death of a woman.

However, The Royal Gazette understands Police were simply making door-to-door inquiries in view of the fact no one at the woman's home could be contacted.

"The Bermuda Police Service is reporting the death of a 58-year old Sandys woman who passed away recently," Police spokesman Dwayne Caines stated last night.

"At present, we are making inquiries into the circumstances of her passing. We are unable to give any further information at this juncture. Inquiries are continuing."

For legal reasons, Mr. Caines declined to comment further on the woman's death.
