The voter's list reflecting the new electoral system should be out in post offices on Monday said Parliamentary Registrar Sabrina Phillips, whose office is responsible for electoral arrangements.

It was originally due out this week, but was delayed due to printing problems, she explained.

Bermuda now has 36 single seat constituencies as a result of changes made last week by Britain's Privy Council. The new boundaries will take effect upon the next dissolution of the House of Assembly.

Changes were made to the register electronically and a massive publicity campaign is underway.

Voters will also have the opportunity to find their new constituencies by logging into the parliamentary registrar's website and typing in their addresses on a search function called the "constituency finder".

The Opposition United Bermuda Party (UBP) has been calling for a wholesale re-registration of voters.

But Ms Phillips and Government House are confident that current arrangements will ensure an accurate voters list.
