Most opposed to Independence in online poll

Almost three quarters of the people responding to an unscientific online poll are opposed to Independence.
The poll, which started last Monday and ended on Thursday at 5 p.m., asked "Should Bermuda go Independent?"
Of the 1,359 people who responded, 74.7 percent said 'no', 18.8 percent said 'yes' and 6.5 percent said they did not know.
Premier Alex Scott announced last Sunday that the time was right for Bermuda to debate Independence.
Some of the debate since has centred on whether Bermudian voters should decide the issue via a General Election or via a Referendum.
