A reporter from The Royal Gazette was fined $350 in Magistrates' Court yesterday after pleading guilty to two counts, including driving an unlicensed motor vehicle.
The court heard that Ayo Johnson, 39, was stopped by Police on May 2 and he was found to be driving without a valid driver's licence and driving an unlicensed motor vehicle. Johnson pleaded guilty to both counts in court yesterday.
Acting Senior Magistrate Carlisle Greaves fined Johnson $100 for having no driver's licence, $250 for driving an unlicensed motor vehicle and he was also ordered to pay the $200 that he owed the courts.
