The chief executive officer of Fort Knox Bermuda Ltd. was yesterday cleared of trying to throttle his ex-wife.
Troy Eugene Symonds, 43, of Radnor Estate Road, Hamilton Parish, denied a charge of grievous bodily harm against Marion Dyer.
Magistrate Khamisi Tokunbo found him not guilty in Magistrates' Court.
An earlier hearing heard the Prosecution claim that Mr. Symonds put his hands around his ex-wife's neck and squeezed.
The assault was alleged to have happened on May 8, 2004 after Mr. Symonds went looking for his son and found him at Ms. Dyer's home.
