A Warwick man called for his lawyer in court yesterday after pleading innocence to the charge of failing to show for Regiment duty.
Andre Richardson, 23, of Smith Avenue in Warwick, was charged with failing to appear at the Regiment on seven occasions between November 14 and January 20.
In view of previous failures to show for Regiment duty, Acting Senior Magistrate Carlisle Greaves remanded Richardson in custody until his trial. ?They have a whole army that can?t find you, how is the Court going to find you with a few bailiffs? ? he said.
Richardson, represented by lawyer Chris Swan, will re-appear in Magistrates? Court for trial on Friday morning at 11.30.
