The coveted Bermuda advertising account will be up for grabs soon. Tourism Minister David Allen yesterday announced that the Ministry will be reviewing the advertising agency account.
"This review is in keeping with the policy I have enunciated over the past several years that the advertising agency account should be reviewed every three to five years," he said.
J Walter Thompson has had the Bermuda account since 1999 and has been invited, along with three other North American agencies, to submit a new proposal.
Mr. Allen said that before Government signs an agreement, the successful bidder will be required to "select and contract a local advertising agency partner".
