Government will hold a Press conference today on the fate of this year's Annual Exhibition. A statement was sent out on Monday announcing the conference would be held today at 11 a.m. at the Visitors' Service Centre in the Botanical Gardens, where the exhibition, formerly known as the Ag Show, is usually held. Many buildings in the Botanical Gardens were damaged as a result of Hurricane Fabian, and rumours have been circulating in the community for several weeks that the Ag Show will be cancelled this year.

Those rumours were confirmed yesterday when an e-mail from the Bermuda Equestrian Federation to its members, leaked to The Royal Gazette, announced the cancellation of the exhibition for the year.
