A bar fight between two women on Friday night at Captain's Lounge has sparked a Police investigation.

A 20-year-old St. George's woman told Police that she was physically assaulted by a 26-year-old woman, also from St. George's inside the bar.

The victim claims the woman confronted her as she came out of the bathroom and asked her why she is always bothering her sister.

The complainant said she shrugged off the question and began to walk away. When she turned around the assailant kicked and pushed her from behind, sending her flying down the two steps. She told Police the older woman kicked her in the head as she lay on the floor.

The woman sustained injuries to her face and forehead before patrons and bouncers broke up the brawl.
