Local filmmakers have just over two weeks to submit an entry into next year's film festival.

The Bermuda International Film Festival (BIFF) 2002 will be held from April 12 to April 18, 2002 and film-makers are reminded to submit their films before the December 31 deadline.

Entry forms can be downloaded from BIFF's website at (www.bermudafilmfest.com). And organisers say that works in progress will be accepted if submitted by the deadline, provided the final print is ready by April 1, 2002.

Only 16 mm or 35 mm films will be screened, but entries can be submitted in tape format.

So far, say organisers, two local films have been submitted.
