Ernst & Young in Bermuda has this year raised a record amount for its Christmas gifts for the Centre on Angle Street.

This year staff have raised $924 through different fundraising activities and were yesterday presenting the children's gifts to the centre.

"Thanks to the kindness of our staff, this year we have raised a record amount of $924," said Johnette Smith of Ernst & Young, who was yesterday due to deliver the gifts. "The donations were generously matched by the partners of Ernst & Young, which allowed us to purchase many of the items on the centre's wish list."

Among the gifts are a selection of games, PlayStations a Game Zone 10 in 1, a dry erase board to replace their old blackboard and a deep freeze.
