Bank of Butterfield's share price continued to break records yesterday, rising to an all-time high of $41.50 - which in turn pushed The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index to a new all-time high of 2,873.42.

The index last reached its all time high of 2,855.08 in April, 2002, after Bank of Bermuda stock went through the roof.

Now investors are putting their money into Bank of Butterfield, with stock rising 95 cents yesterday or 2.3 percent.

Bermuda Press (Holdings) Ltd. and Belco Holdings also made gains of 50 cents to $12.50 and 35 cents to $35.10 respectively.

The index closed up 25.34 points or 0.89 percent on a volume of 9,100 shares worth $320,700. No bonds traded.
