The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index gained 38.9 points yesterday to close at 3,924.35.

Light trading on the Exchange saw BF&M rise $1.50 to close at $18.50 as investors traded in 5000 shares and KeyTech moved up $1 to close at $13 on volume of 700 shares.

Butterfield Bank traded in 45,167 shares to close unchanged at $46.55.

The total value of the shares bought and sold on the BSX yesterday was $2,202,868.85 and the overall volume of shares was 50,867.
