Endurance Specialty Holdings Ltd. posted an initial gross loss estimate related to Hurricane Wilma of $120 million assuming industry wide insured losses from Hurricane Wilma of $10 billion in Florida and an additional $2 billion in the Yucatan Peninsula.

The Endurance estimate includes $35 million of gross losses from damage on the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico.

Actual losses may differ from the initial estimate as reported claims as a result of Hurricane Wilma have been limited, the company said.
