Argus, Butterfield boost BSX

The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index yesterday gained 52.04 points to close at 2,801.19 while share volume stood at 18,771.
The highest volume of trading came from LOM (Holdings) Limited with 15,000 shares changing hands while the investment firm's stock price fell five cents to $3.20.
Bank of Butterfield shares moved up 50 cents to $38 while investors bought and sold 2,750 of the bank's stock.
In the local insurance sector, Argus shares jumped 28 percent, or $5.70, to $26 while 400 shares traded.
