The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange index rose again yesterday after Bank of Butterfield shares jumped by 50 cents again to close at $38.

BF&M shares also gained 25 cents, closing at $10.25 and Belco rose by 55 cents to finish at $34.55. LOM (Holdings) lost 15 cents to finish at $3.20.

The index closed up 16.57 points or 0.61 percent at 2,746.92 on a volume of 27,950 shares worth $454,445.
