The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index rebounded yesterday as two financial stocks gained.The index closed up 28.03 points to 4,831.18 on thin volume of 3,088 shares worth $112,150.Butterfield Bank recovered recent loses when it closed up 50 cents or 0.9 percent at $56 on volume of 1,588 shares.

Butterfield Bank recovered recent loses when it closed up 50 cents or 0.9 percent at $56 on volume of 1,588 shares.
Insurer BF&M edged up tent cents to $18.10 on volume of 1,000 shares.
Rival insurer Argus also saw 300 shares traded, but closed unchanged at $13, while Kentucky Fried Chicken was also unchanged at $6 on volume of 200 shares.
The Bermuda Insurance Index closed up 79 percent at 1,190.91.
