Platinum Underwriters Holdings Limited has appointed Lily B. Outerbridge as vice president, director of investor relations.

Ms Outerbridge will be responsible for Platinum's internal and external communications, including investor relations functions previously performed by Justin Cressall, senior vice president and treasurer of Platinum, who has assumed expanded corporate finance responsibilities.

Ms Outerbridge has over 25 years of financial industry experience, most recently with XL Capital Limited where she served as vice president, investor relations since 2002.
