The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index fell 7.88 points yesterday to close at 3,781.67.

On a quiet day of trading yesterday Bank of Butterfield gained 25 cents to close at $45.75 as investors traded in 982 shares.

The only other movement was Belco slumping $2.15 to close at $40.35 on volume of 3,168 shares.

The total value of the shares bought and sold on the BSX yesterday was $172,755.30 and the overall volume of shares was 4,150.
