The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index yesterday dipped 1.57 points, or 0.4 percent, as Bank of Butterfield shares closed at $45.50.

Bank of Butterfield shares remained unchanged as investors traded in 4,052 shares and Bermuda Commercial Bank Limited declined 50 cents on volume of 100 shares to close .at $8.50.

No other issues changed price while Belco Holdings Ltd. remain unchanged at $40.25 on volume of 100 shares.

The total value of the shares bought and sold on the BSX yesterday was $191,791.00 and the overall volume of shares was 4,552 to close at 3,771.59.
