Gross Written Premiums for the Goshawk Group: ?240.9 million ($378 million), up 134 percent over the same period last year

Gross Written Premiums in Bermuda through Goshawk Re: ?36.4 million ($57.2 million) or 15 percent of group total*.

In total the group posted a profit after tax, for the period, of ?6.3 million ($9.89 million) compared to a loss for the same period last year of around ?300,000 ($471,000). The company also announced an interim dividend of one pence per share.

It is not known what portion of the profit for the quarter could be attributed to the Bermuda operation, Goshawk Re.
