Bermuda stocks retreat
The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index last week fell 13.910 points to close at 3,183.46.
The highest volume of trading was seen by KeyTech - the parent company of BTC, Mobility and Logic Communications - with investors pushing 18,000 shares through the BSX.
However, the communication company's shares closed the week as they began - at $10.
Butterfield Bank investors bought and sold 10,485 shares while pushing down the share price 25 cents to $40.75.
In the insurance sector, Argus Insurance saw 1,500 shares move and a $1 drop in its share price to close at $25. And investors traded 6,420 BF&M shares while ending the week $1.40 lower at $12.60.
Bermuda Press (Holdings) Ltd. - the parent company of The Royal Gazette - saw 1,000 shares move while the price climbed five cents to $13.05.
Also during the week, a significant number of Bermuda Container Line Ltd. shares - 13,600 - shares were traded while jumping $1.60 during the week to close at $10.95.
Belco Holdings Ltd. investors saw shares close up $2 to $41 on trading of 580 shares.
