The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index yesterday gained 21.47 points to close at 3,178.52.

Communications conglomerate KeyTech - the parent company of BTC, Mobility and Logic Communications - saw the highest volume of trading yesterday when investors bought and sold 8,400 shares.

Shareholders also pushed the share price 20 cents higher to close at $10.

Meanwhile, Belco Holdings Ltd. shares gained $2 to $42 on trading of 120 shares.

Butterfield Bank saw minimal trading - 25 shares - and no price change to its share price of $40.75.
