Jasmine DeSilva joins Horseshoe

Bermudian business executive Jasmine DeSilva has joined Horseshoe as senior vice-president, ILS Strategic Initiatives and Business Development.

Ms DeSilva joins the ILS powerhouse from the Bermuda Business Development Agency, where she served as the business development manager for Risk and Insurance Solutions.

Before joining the BDA, Ms DeSilva was an assistant vice-president at Sompo International as a casualty underwriter with a large portfolio of Fortune 500 accounts focusing on transportation and energy risk.

Ms DeSilva earned the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter designation in 2010.

She served as president of the Bermuda chapter of the CPCU Society from 2012 to 2013.

Ms DeSilva graduated from the University of Toronto with distinction.

Horseshoe, the world’s largest ILS service provider, operates in all major ILS locations.

The company specialises in insurance management, risk transformation, fund administration, advisory and corporate services.

Horseshoe is an Artex Risk Solutions company, a wholly owned subsidiary of Arthur J. Gallagher & Co.
