The Police will be out in full force this Halloween with 100 officers on duty over the weekend.

Police said that individuals arrested over the weekend can expect to remain in custody until the next available court session.

More than 100 officers will be on duty tonight, tomorrow night and on Sunday night to provide patrols and rapid response to any calls for assistance.

The Reserve Police will also be on duty for the Halloween weekend.

Police have asked parents to be aware of where their children are over the weekend and to accompany them if they intent to go trick-or-treating.

Of the 60 incidents that happened last Halloween, half involved throwing missiles like eggs and rocks by juveniles.

Police urged parents to provide their children with positive alternatives.
