The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed 21.78 points higher
The Bermuda Stock Exchange remained idle as the RG/BSX index was steady at 2,559.66.
The BSX Insurance Index was up 27.81 (1.6 per cent).
The Bank of Butterfield fell 85 cents (2.39 per cent) on the New York Stock Exchange to close at $34.65.
