Jenni Estis named managing director of Guy Carpenter Bermuda

Jenni Estis has been promoted to the position of managing director at Guy Carpenter (Bermuda) Ltd.

The global risk and reinsurance specialist, a business of Marsh McLennan, said Mrs Estis joined Guy Carpenter in 2002, and has previously worked in the organisation’s London office as well as on the North American wholesale team.

Mrs Estis’s broking responsibility includes servicing retrocessional clients and placing property business into the Bermuda reinsurance market.

She is also the head of operations at Guy Carpenter Bermuda.

Mrs Estis said: “I am ecstatic to have been promoted to managing director after 19 years with Guy Carpenter Bermuda.

“As well as managing broking relationships, my promotion gives me greater access to driving forward the Guy Carpenter vision as we continue to focus on the future around improving operational efficiencies and stand unwavering in our commitment to our clients’ needs.”

Mrs Estis, a Bermudian, attended Bermuda High School for Girls.

She received her associate’s in reinsurance designation and a bachelor’s degree in finance from Tulane University.
