Sue Couper has been appointed the new general manager of LOM Asset Management Limited.

This is her second tenure with LOM, having spent five years previously with the company as managing director for LOM Financial (Bermuda) Limited.

Ms Couper has nearly four decades of experience in financial services. Holding Chartered Insurer status and an advanced diploma in financial planning, she has held various management and directorship roles throughout her career in the UK and Bermuda, including key accounts director for Axa.

She has also run her own training and development company that focused on wellbeing and diversity in the workplace, a subject very close to her heart.

“We are delighted to have Sue back on board, bringing her wide breadth of financial services knowledge, experience and passion for people development to the role,” said Scott Lines, chief executive officer and chairman of LOM Financial Group.

“LOM Asset Management continues to grow and excel in the investment management arena. Having been awarded ‘Bermuda’s Best Asset Management Company’ for the last two years in a row by Global Banking and Finance Review and with the highest rated funds by Morningstar, Sue’s role is to capitalise on this success in the broader wholesale markets in the rest of the world, whilst supporting the company locally and strategically.”
