Workers resume project to remove vegetation from Black Watch Pass

Workers resumed a project to remove vegetation from Black Watch Pass over the weekend.
The road was closed to the public on Saturday while crews used cranes and tools to access and clear plant life.
Although the work was originally expected to be completed earlier this month, poor weather conditions on the weekend of January 14 forced the project to be postponed.
Pedestrians were warned there would be no access while the operation was carried out, "due to the anticipation of ongoing falling debris”.
