Saturday, July 11 to raise money for local charities.

The auction, which will be held at the Marriott Castle Harbour Resort, has been put together by the Somers Isles Junior Chamber to help the LOM Community Cause and the Sunshine League.

Proceeds from the "Mr. Right'' auction will also be used to help the Junior Chamber with some of its in-house programmes and training.

The auction will see 20 of the Island's "most eligible'' bachelors paraded before an audience of women with bids fielded for each man. The bachelor with the highest bid will win a round-trip airline ticket.

Junior Chamber organisers said the night would be "fun and in good taste'' with two secret celebrity bachelors "up for sale''.

Tickets can be purchased at Wilson's Fine Jewellers, 27th Century Boutique and Aston & Gunn.
