Khano on TV tonight
Khano Smith’s New England Revolution will attempt to stretch their unbeaten league run to four games when they take on DC United tonight at RFK Stadium in Washington in a match to be televised.
Followers of the Revs and Smith can watch the former Dandy Town striker in action on ESPN2 at 8 p.m. local time.
The Revs, who toured Bermuda during pre-season earlier this year, enter tonight’s contest fresh off a 1-0 win over Western Conference leaders FC Dallas in their previous outing, while DC United are off to their worst start to a season in nearly a decade.
In the previous regular season meeting between the two teams, the Revs ran out 2-1 victors at RFK Stadium through goals from Clint Dempsey and Taylor Twellman — scorer of his team’s winner against Dallas last Sunday in Frisco, Texas.
Smith, who has yet to find the back of the net this season, last converted in the Rev’s 4-0 pre-season thrashing of United Soccer League (USL) outfit New Orleans Shell Shockers earlier this spring.
