A woman was robbed by a man brandishing “a bladed article” as she walked along the railway trail in Paget.

The 37-year-old Warwick resident was not injured however the man made off with her BlackBerry cell phone.

The incident happened around 12.30 p.m. on Wednesday near the junction with Ord Road.

The suspect then fled on foot in an easterly direction.

He was described as brown-skinned, approximately 5ft 9ins, weighing around 165 pounds.
