Trio deny assaulting Devonshire woman

Three women denied charges of assaulting a Devonshire woman yesterday when they appeared in Magistrates’ Court.

Collisha Hendrickson, 22, Latasha Zuill, 27, and Laquita Rawlins, 26, pleaded not guilty to unlawfully assaulting the woman on April 2 and thereby causing her bodily harm.

On the same day, Collisha Hendrickson, of Dundonald Street, Pembroke, is charged with stealing a Motorola cell phone, namely a Razr, from the woman, a charge she also denies.

Latasha Zuill, of Cable Hill in Devonshire faces two separate charges, namely that she entered the complainant’s house that same day and stole a pair of brown crocodile boots, valued at $120, or, the alternative charge, that she dishonestly received the boots.

The case will be mentioned on July 2 in Magistrates’ Court and the three accused were each released on $1,000 bail.
