Teen gave brother?s name to cops
A Pembroke teen pleaded guilty to give Police officers his own brother?s name when they arrested him.
Terrone Dill, 18 of Orchard Grove entered guilty pleas for four offences in Magistrates? Court yesterday. He was charged with between February 15 and 16 entering property of an employee at Auto Express Limited and entering without permission.
Dill admitted to stealing $800 worth of car parts from the complainant after his fingerprints were found in the car. The defendant was also charged with stealing a bottle of Hennessey cognac for the Market Place in Hamilton and giving a false name ? Terrence Dill, his brother.
The court heard Dill placed items in a bag and went to the register to pay for them. He paid for Vitamin Water and a piece of watermelon. When apprehended by Police officers, they found a bottle of Hennessey, deodorant, toothpaste and boxers.
This matter has been adjourned until September 15.
Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner ordered Social Inquiry and a Psychiatric reports for Dill who was released on $2,000 bail.
