A: Hunt, who appeared in last year’s Bobby, has been busy directing and acting in the romantic comedy Then She Found Me, due out later this year. Colin Firth and Bette Midler co-r.

Q: What happened to that actress in My Big Fat Greek Wing? She was so funny, but then disappeared. — M.F.

A:<$> Nia Vardalos, who had a huge success with that film, tried unsuccessfully to make it into a TV series. Then she made a few other TV appearances, such as her role as Larry David’s lawyer on Curb Your Enthusiasm, and made a few other movies, such as the littleen Connie and Carla<$>. But she has two new projects coming up: A Wilderness of Monkeys, which she adapted from a novel and which Tom Hanks is directing (there’s a family connection: Hanks’ wife, Rita Wilson, was the one who discovered got My Big Fat Greek Wedding produced), and My Life Ruins<$>, which she also wrote, about a tour guide in Greece.

Q: Is actress Drew Barrymore dating anyone? I think she’s adorable. — K.R.

A: At this writing, Barrymore seems to have separated from her most recent squeeze, director Spike Jonze, and has been seen out and about romantically with Zach Braff. Perhaps it will last longer than eekend.

Q: Is it true there will finally be a movie of Sex athe City? I miss the show. — L.G.

A: You’re not alone. The movie version of the series, which ended in 2004, has been off and on the rumour schedule, but it looks like it now has a firm plan to go into production, with all four original stars, sometime this fall.

Q: I likthe show Kidnapped. What is actress Dana Delany doing next? R K.B.

A: <$>Delany has the drama Drunkboat, with John Goodman and John Malkovich, due for release and two more in productiothe dramas Multiple Sarcasms, with Timothy Hutton, and Aautiful Life<$>, with Denise Richards. She’s also in talks with the producers of Desperate Housewives to join the cast of that show. Reportedly, she was the first choice to play Bree but turnehe part down.

Q: I think actors Josh Brolin and Diane Lane make such a handsome couple, but a friend has tole me they split up. Is this true? — J.R.

A: There are no official reports of that at this writing, but the two have rarely appeared in public together in recent months, following several well-publicised battles — including one in which the police were called. So the relationship is, at the very least, unstable.

Q: I think Lily Allen is really interesting but I read somewhere that she got arrested. Was it for drugs? — A.S.

A: No. The British singer, who recently cancelled most of her US tour and was fairly drunk in the concerts she did put on ton, was recently arrested in London for slugging a photographer. Given the intense scrutiny the London tabloids place celebrities under, she’s hardly the first to lash at paparazzi.

Q: I read somewhere that Martha Stewart is in the hospital. Is something seriously wrong? — N.G.

A: No; the domestic diva underwent hip surgery, but she’s fine and should make a fully recovery.

Q like the show According to Jim. Is it coming back on TV? — K.S.

A: The ABC comedy, which was left off the network’s schedule when it was announced in the spring, is still alive. It was recently announced that it will return as a mid-season replacement, with 18 episodes scheduled to air. Apparently, there was a huge fan campaign to save the show, and the network eutives listened.

Q: I read that Posh Spice is going to join the c of Ugly Betty. Is that true? — N.F.

A:<$> Victoria Beckham — who has made a well-choreographed debut in this country as her husband, David, joins the LA Galaxy soccer team — has been in discussions to make an appearance on the show, but not to join the cast full time. Also, as you’ve probably heard, she and her fellow Spice Girls are reuniting for a brief tour.
