Logo design wanted for 2008 art auction
The Women’s Resource Centre and the Kaleidoscope Arts Foundation are inviting the public to design a logo for an auction featuring the work of Bermuda’s premier female artists on March 1, 2008.
Designs should be submitted no later than Friday, September 28 to the Kaleidoscope Arts Foundation on Jubilee Road, Devonshire any time between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Monday to Friday.
The logo will be included on all material associated with the gala event, including invitations, flyers and advertisements. The creator of the winning logo will receive a gift donated by both organisations.
The chosen date of March 1, 2008 marks International Women’s Day, and proceeds from the auction will be used by the Women’s Resource Centre and the Kaleidoscope Foundation to provide a training programme for parents, and an art programme for children. The parenting course is known as ‘1-2-3 Magic’ and was designed by clinical psychologist Dr. Thomas W. Phelan. Its aim is to help parents to overcome the stress that can take the fun out of parenting. Thus far it has been well-received by parents.
For further information concerning the logo, please e-mail Fiona Rose Rodriguez-Roberts at kaleidoscope@northrock.bm For further information on the organisations visit websites www.kaleidoscopeartsfoundation.com and www.wrcbermuda.com respectively.
