A bus rammed into a wall after a collision with a motorcycle.
No-one was seriously injured in the incident, which occurred around 4 p.m yesterday on South Road, near the entrance to Horseshoe Beach.
The young rider of the bike involved told The Royal Gazette that he and the bus were both travelling east, and he had just overtaken a taxi.
However, he did not see the bus indicate it was turning right, and his Honda Scoopy bike collided with the side of the vehicle as it turned into a side road.
The bus — which is not believed to have been carrying passengers — then hit a wall just inside the turning.“I have no clue how it went into the wall,” said the young man, who declined to give his name or age. While he was unhurt, his bike suffered damage to the forks, back wheel and indicator lights.
“It was nothing big. S**t happens, “ said the rider, who was questioned by Police but not arrested.
