Legislators represent Bermuda at conference
Bermuda legislators are representing the Island at the 32nd CPA Regional Conference of the Caribbean, the America and the Atlantic Region in Grand Cayman.
The delegation led by Ottiwell Simmons MP, includes Dame Jennifer Smith MP who is the Regional Representative and who serves on the CPA International Executive Committee, Walter Lister MP, Senator Wayne Caines and Clerk to the Legislator Shernette Wolffe who serves as Honorary Secretary.
The Conference runs from June 24 to 30 with the theme, Embracing Change in the Way we do Business: Efficient Government.
The Bermuda delegates are scheduled to make the first presentation on the topic: “Democracy and Human Development: The Involvement of the Citizen.”
