Restaurant burgled
Police were called to a burglary at a Victoria Street, Pembroke restaurant at 5 a.m yesterday. The manager of the business, which has not been named by Police, reported that at some point between 5 p.m on Monday and 5 a.m yesterday an unknown culprit gained entry and stole cigarettes. An hour and a half later, Police attended a report of a burglary at a Second Avenue, Pembroke residence. The victim said that between 1 a.m and 4 a.m on Tuesday, an unknown culprit gained entry into the home. Two wallets containing personal items were stolen.
On Monday evening, Police attended a burglary at a Twin Lane Place, Pembroke home. The complainant said that some time between 8:30 a.m and 6:30 p.m that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into her apartment while it was unoccupied and stole jewellery.
Inquiries were said to be underway yesterday.
