Belco leads BSX fall

The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index slipped back 57.90 points yesterday.The Index closed on 5,121.25, representing a 1.12 per cent decrease, down from Monday's high of 5,179.15.Share volume was 4,247, with turnover standing at $139,889.50.

Belco Holdings Ltd saw the biggest drop of $1.70 (7.8 percent) to finish on $20.
Butterfield Bank also suffered a loss, this time of 50 cents (0.8 percent), to close on $60.50.
Insurer BF&M Ltd. remained the same at $18.50, with 1,150 shares traded throughout the day.
The BSX Insurance Index suffered a similar downturn in the market, losing 15.97 points (1.19 percent) to finish on 1,322.08.
