Trading remained stable on the Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Index (BSX) yesterday, opening and closing with no change on 5,334.53.

$416,659 worth of shares changed hands, with all 6,510 shares traded by Butterfield Bank as their share price closed on $64.

The BSX Insurance Index enjoyed a good day, rising 5.16 points (0.42 percent) to 1,231.35.
