A 50-year-old man jumped from a tumbling crane in Hamilton.The Pembroke man was working on the residential buildings at Tucker's Point Club when the crane went down a steep hill.He was unable to stop the vehicle and jumped to safety, though he fractured his right arm and hip in the process.

The crane landed on its side and sustained moderate damage.
The man was taken from the Mid Ocean Drive property to the King Edward Memorial Hospital by ambulance.
A Government Health & Safety officer is now investigating the incident.
