Meg Munn: Bermuda's new FCO representative

Meg Munn

Bermuda has a new representative in the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) following the recent election of Gordon Brown as British Prime Minister.

Following his succession from Tony Blair, Mr. Brown undertook a widespread reshuffle that saw former Under Secretary of State with responsibility for British Overseas Territories Lord David Triesman replaced by Meg Munn.

Mrs. Munn, a former Minister for Women and Equality, has been a member of the British Labour Party since she was 15 years old and is a trained social worker.

In addition to the Overseas Territories, she will also hold responsibility for FCO business relating to the Caribbean and Central America and South East Asia.
