Bermuda CableVision announced yesterday that it is to take business and financial news channel CNBC off the air, as of July 31.
An expiring satellite agreement was the reason given for the change and the company is now seeking a replacement channel.
Bermuda CableVision's general manager Terry Roberson said: "We regret any inconvenience to our customers and we are actively looking for suitable alternative programming.
"The situation, which is beyond our control, stems from CNBC having cancelled their agreement with our programming provider due to an expiring satellite agreement with our territory."
