Garbage Collection for the East End will be disrupted due to the public holiday on Tuesday, June 5. Tuesday was declared yesterday a national holiday to honour the late Dame Lois Browne-Evans. Because of the holiday, garbage collection that normally occurs in the East End on a Tuesday will be collected on Wednesday June 6th.

The Ministry of Works and Engineering asks that the public place their garbage out for collection no later than 7:30 a.m. on this day and the regular garbage collection schedule will resume on Thursday June 7th.
