A three-year-old boy was continuing to recover last night after sustaining serious head injuries on a children's motorbike.
The boy has been moved to the children's ward at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital but his condition was last night described as "stable and improving".
Police say the boy was hurt after losing control of a motorised child's cycle. He collided with a wall in a field near Westcott Road, St. George's, on Monday evening.
His 28-year-old father, from St. George's, had been teaching him to ride the bike, which Police have now impounded.
A Police spokesman said yesterday: "Inquiries are continuing."
