Three go down

A downturn in the value of three stocks resulted in a 30.42 point (0.59 percent) drop on the Royal Gazette / Bermuda Stock Exchange, which ended at 5,134.9.

The biggest faller was BF&M, which saw of its shares close $1.20 (6.3 percent) down at $17.75, after 1,704 were traded.

Also going down were shares of Bermuda Commercial Bank, which lost $0.50 (5 percent) to end at $9.50 after 1,000 changed hands.

Butterfield Bank shares also lost value by 20 cents (0.3 percent) following an exchange of 1,256 to end at $60.

The total volume of shares traded was 3,960 valued at $115,984.25.
