Government fees: Wording changes

Minor changes are being made to the wording of legislation over the charging of Government fees.Terms such as grantee and alien are to be removed from the Government Fees Amendment Regulations 2007.Finance Minister Paula Cox told the House of Assembly the word alien was previously defined as a non-Commonwealth non-Bermudian, such as an American or German. However, the term restricted person now includes so-called aliens as well as non-Bermudian Commonwealth citizens.
