Two hurt after collision in Hamilton Parish
A collision involving a pedestrian in Hamilton Parish resulted in two teenagers suffering minor injuries.
Police said that the incident happened at about 6.45pm yesterday when it was reported that a motorcycle, driven by a 19-year-old woman, was travelling west along North Shore Road.
As the bike reached a pedestrian crossing near Radnor Road, it was said to have collided with a 17-year-old female pedestrian who was trying to cross.
The pedestrian did not suffer visible injuries, but complained of pain to her arm and back.
The motorcycle rider appeared to have suffered a dislocated shoulder.
Both were transported by ambulance to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.
An investigation is under way.
