ZipX is inviting the public to shop local and celebrate Bermuda’s small business community at its first-ever ZipXpo Business Expo & Vendors Market on Saturday.

The free, family friendly event will run from 2pm to 6pm at ZipX headquarters at 5 Canal Road in Hamilton. More than 30 local vendors will be selling handmade crafts, fashion, health and wellness products, sweet treats and more. A kiddie zone with fun castles and face painting sponsored by ZipX will also be available for families to enjoy at no cost.

“The ZipXpo is a one-stop shop to support Bermuda’s talented entrepreneurs,” said Jahki Regis, manager of operations, sales and marketing at ZipX.

“DJ Chubb will be spinning feel-good tunes throughout the afternoon, setting the vibe for a great day out.”

The event will also include raffles and giveaways, with prizes available throughout the day.

Among the participating vendors are: Butterfly Crochet & Crafts, Hot Dog Delight, Ashley’s Lemonade, Just Face It BDA, Island Soul Pottery, Modestique Boutique, Carnival in Bermuda and many others offering a wide range of goods, from fashion and accessories to desserts and wellness products.

“Every purchase made at ZipXpo supports a Bermudian entrepreneur,” said Kevin Smith, managing director of ZipX.

The event is presented by ZipX in partnership with the Bermuda Economic Development Corporation, Butterfield & Vallis and OneComm, which will provide complimentary wi-fi access for vendors.
